ASp publishes peer-reviewed research articles, research notes and book reviews related to the field of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) for both teaching and research twice a year. Since November 2018, it has published a section entitled “Teaching practices in ESP.” The thematic and non-thematic issues aim to give an insight into ESP, notably in its linguistic, discursive, cultural and didactic aspects, and also to develop our knowledge of the various specific English registers used for different purposes.
Various analytical frameworks can be adopted: discourse (discourse analysis, genre study, pragmatics), corpus and phraseology, cultural studies, didactics (second language learning theories, ESP teaching, ergonomics, ICT…), linguistic events and grammar, terminology, specialised translation.
The journal publishes in French and in English.
