Authors are requested to submit an electronic copy (e-mail attachment) of their contribution to ASp Editorial Board <firstname.lastname@example.org> and <email@example.com>.
Submission implies that the manuscript has not been previously published and that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
Articles should not exceed 8,000 words, research notes 4,000, and book reviews or reports 2,000.
For the purposes of blind-refereeing, the full name of each author with current affiliation, full address/phone/fax/email details, plus a short biographical note in the third person (maximum 60 words) should be supplied on a separate page.
Any document published elsewhere and included for reproduction as a facsimile should be accompanied by the publisher’s permission.
Full title and sub-title (if any), list of key words (5-6 maximum) and a 150- to 170-word abstract in each of the two languages of the journal, French and English.
The following rules should be adopted for the presentation of the text:
software: Word, .doc or .RTF; Times New Roman or Times, font size 12
use bold type only for headings or sub-headings and the first use of a key word
use italics for book or journal titles and for foreign words; exceptionally to highlight an expression or a paragraph
lists and indents should be used sparingly
separate each paragraph with a line (no indent)
use footnotes for extra comments or explanations which cannot be inserted in the text. Footnotes should be numbered throughout the article in font size 9; size of text in footnotes, 10
quotations that run to three lines or more should be written as paragraphs in size 11, with a 2cm indent on the left, without quotation marks
Web site addresses should not be underlined or typed in blue, but presented as follows: <http://websiteURL>.
All figures and illustrations should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. The journal publishes in black and white only.
In brackets with the author’s name, the year of publication and the page number (Johns 1997: 36); or only year and page if the author’s name is mentioned in the sentence.
Present the references of the works mentioned in the article in alphabetical order in the following way:
Family name, Name. Year. Title of Book. Town: Publisher. [books]
Family name, Name. Year. “Title of article.” Name of journal, volume, page-page. [articles]
In the case of multiple authors, use the following order:
Family name 1, N[ame] 1., N[ame] 2. Family name 2, ..., & N[ame] n. Family name n.
Use English punctuation, i.e., no space before : ; ? ! and English quotation marks.‘‘ ’’.
